Anthony's got a problem

Greetings. 

I'm a veteran of eRepublik, was rather successful there, but that world became far too corrupt since I left there about 13 months ago.  Between the constant changes in the game, relentless trolls, and a world often bloated to 300,000 citizens with most of them being multi's, it's simply not a world to come back to.  Older players dominate and do not share well with noobies.  I tried returning last month, but between the entrenchement of trollocracies and the mistrust the "good guys" have concerning anyone who dares to stand out from the pack, it's just too cynical and too far gone to salvage.

Hence, I'm making a clean start here.

My question is, what do I have to do to simply upload my avatar to the game?  I'm guessing the problem's with my computer, seeing as I had to go the URL route to upload it to this given site.  Before I start to whine, I'm hoping someone out there can give me a pointer.

I know from experience, the most important thing a new player can do is explore, meet people, and get his name out there as someone who is active.  It's hard to do when you can't even get your avatar up and running.

So Far you have made it this far onto the Australian Forum, when Others can not, but that is going to change
Anyway, To upload your avatar, simply click on your avatar to the left, and it will take you to your profile page. Under your avatar in your profile page it should say "edit profile" In there thats where you upload your avatar.

It's all good.  My computer just sucks.  Did what I was supposed to do on another computer, worked just fine.

Now I can start networking.

Thank you guys already for befriending me.  I hope to make an immediate and positive impact to not just Australia, but the world on the whole.
